The carp supplied by the fish farm at Burton Bradstock were stocked into a wide variety of waters in the south in late 70s/early 80s. Unfortunately it was this company that supplied small carp to Farnham Angling Club in late 1986 which appeared to have had a detrimental effect on the established carp stocks of both Frensham Small pond and Bagshot Lea. In each case many of the old resident carp died. A little bit like the Indian and the common cold syndrome.
Sadly I don’t know from where the Burton Bradstock brood fish originated or indeed whether they breed their own fish or merely sold on fish from elsewhere.

I have little knowledge of fish from the Framlingham fish farm, other than I don’t think the bred there own, just grew on stocks obtained from other sources then sold them on.
