 Re: Esp New product WHY???
Danny uses a mustad version of this swivell Its for drop off inlines ... So you attatch your leadcore/leader to one big ring and then you rig to the other ... Therefore you get more movement on the rig and the lead can come off more easily. Do you see now?

 Re: Esp New product WHY???
yep that would make sense, i can see how that would work, i was struggling to see how the two rings wouldnt effectively cause tangles, but as one is pulled back with leadcore it allows free movement with the other. far to expensive approach for me, i try to have as little eject as possible, unless near heavy snags.

 Re: Esp New product WHY???
Yup ... my thoughts exactly ... but if you can get good cheap inline leads in bulk then why not coz i doubt many other people will be using em.

 Re: Esp New product WHY???
Nah they're definitly better for drop off inlines than a standard swivel Not my style of fishing so i won't ever use em. ESP stuff is pukka.

 Re: Esp New product WHY???
there is a hole host of reason's mate but the main one is weed and so you dont have a fish lugging a lead around in the unlikely event of a snap off

 Re: Esp New product WHY???
theoretically (weedy situation) when a fish picks up the bait and tightens the setup the lead drops off as the fish is shaking its head and the fish shots up to the surface...
the lead will not catch any weed as you are playing the fish so a better chance of landing..
