 Best PVA Tape (Winter)
Can anyone recommend me a good PVA tape to use for stringers in the winter? I need it to have a very fast melt time and not leave residue. Any suggestions would be great.

 Re: Best PVA Tape (Winter)
tape wise ive never found a problem with any thin ones in winter, string is a lot denser and takes longer to melt, so long as there is descent bait seperation i have not found a problem but i use this one at the mo

 Re: Best PVA Tape (Winter)
I wouldn’t say the 3ply is dense at all; the stuff almost dissolves on impact.

 Re: Best PVA Tape (Winter)
the three ply stuff is good as it is loose, i just wouldnt use strings like the tightly braided ones, as the water takes a lot longer to attack these.

I use the Korda stuff that comes as 2 rolls of 20M on one spool. Really good for stringers and I use it all year round.

 Re: Best PVA Tape (Winter)
never tried the korda one much ... and never used pva string at all for stringers, always thought tape was much better.
